Clovis West High Sophomore Asia Adell is Junior Champion. Local Golfer Wins City Championship Fresno — Click Here for Print Friendly Version Asia Adell won the 61st Len Ross Fresno City Junior Amateur Golf Championship Tournament Thursday, March 20, 2008. This was a 4-day tournament with a field of 44 girls. Asia Adell shot (82, 80, 71, 75) to claim victory. Asia relocated to Fresno from Alabama in 2004. She is a 15-year-old sophomore at Clovis West High School and has been playing golf since the age of 5. She plays an average of 15 tournaments during the summer with the Junior Golf Association of Northern California (JGANC). Asia's long-term goal is to play professional golf on the LPGA tour. She is the daughter of Alvin & Debra Adell, and has a brother, Avery, in the military.
